This website is a joint effort of Ken Mercer (Class of 1964) and Jack Andersen (Class of 1964). Ken started the process by gathering and scanning all of the yearbooks from 1924 through 1968. Jack put together a website where the pages could be displayed. The two of us then indexed the names found on the pages so a classmate search could be done. It has been fun.
This site would not have become a reality if it had not been for assistance from several others. We would especially like to thank; Cheri Olsson (Cheri Carlon of Class of 65) and Eleanor Nickerson (Eleanor Olsson of Class of 1953) for providing annuals for Ken to scan. Bev Lenz (Beverly Hanes of Class of 1967) provided several of the late 60's annuals, and Bob & Mary Ann Mercer (Mary Ann Glaze of Class of 1959) went beyond expectations by finding many annuals that were missing and shipping them to Ken in Texas at their own expense.
Traci Bradney and the staff at the NCTA library deserve a round of applause for finding a copy of Volume I, scanning the pages, and forwarding them to Ken so they could be included. The copy may be the only copy of that book still in captivity and it is a bit tattered and worn. Job well done.
Thank you Carl Engstrom, class of 1966, for helping us fill in the home towns on some of the pages. Also Thank you to Linda (Bauer) Schick, Class of 1966 for the 2021 reunion pictures.
Associate Dean, Scott R. Mickelsen, PhD, gets credit for supplying names for campus buildings. When we uploaded the pictures we realized that, while we knew what some were in 64, we had no idea of the use or title today.
We would also like to thank those of you that are viewing the site today and ask that you use the contact form to let us know what you think of the site. If you would like to leave comments on Facebook we have a page at www.facebook.com/CurtisAggie where messages can be left for others to see.
